Monday, July 21, 2008 - 2nd time I have had this wine. Some friends in Michigan opened this bottle and 2 other GL's. This was decanted for 2 hours before we drank it and I did not think it was showing as well as when I tried this a few years ago. Overly tannic but filled with dirty red fruit, leather, currant and licorice. Needs time but a good contrast to the 1981. 89+ points.
