Friday, July 24, 2009 - This wine was decanted and poured. It was tasted side by side with the 2003 Pegau CdP Cuvée Réservée. Unfortunately this wine failed to show as well as the Pegau. This wine on the bouquet and palate came across as stern, closed and unyielding. Time in the decanter failed to coax the wine into a more accessible profile. Based on this showing it is not clear if additional bottle age will resolve the stern, unyielding personality.
