Monday, September 13, 2010 - Really very good: consumed over two nights, stored at cellar temperature between tastings. Fantastic nose of raspberry jam with some subtle iron and spice. Medium weight on the palate, perhaps slightly better on the second day. 2003 was very hot and while the wine has powerful fruit and is a bit one dimensional , it has nice acidity with silky tannins. In my opinion, a somewhat under-rated wine.
