Wednesday, June 21, 2006 - Deeply saturated purple, almost impenetrable. Sweet aromas of cassis, red plums, cinnamon, toffee, hints of game. Very rich and dense, chewy, concentrated sweet fruits, long finish with substantial tannins. Acidity low compared to "classic" beaucastel. Alcohol a bit high, but no other signs of the hot vintage at all.
