Friday, February 25, 2011 - Decanted 2 hours. Deep and radiantly bright color right to the rim. Briary nose of rose hips, berry leaves, sweet and savory spices. Bright, smooth and powerful on the palate with firm black cherry flavors. Tannins are sill in evidence and the finish is long and dry. Structured and a bit "four square" still, I would give this a bit more time in the cellar. Drink 2012 to 2015.
