Saturday, February 28, 2009 - Plenty of cherry and raspberry fruit. Some hints of licorice. Nice balance and acidity. Finishes with a pleasant cedary fade. A little bit more heat that I would have liked in a Pinot. Full-bodied mouth feel, although it's not all the way up to plushness. A really nice value for the price.

10/19/09 Similar notes to previous, but I was more taken with how nice the mouth feel is and I didn't notice the heat/alcohol as much. Tempted to add another point to my rating. We'll see what the next bottle tastes like.
