Wednesday, July 7, 2010 - There’s a strong, smoky whiff of bacon fat along with blood plum, tar and liquorice. In the mouth it is round and creamy showing bright and youthful fruit flavours trimmed with a little earth. There’s a touch of stemmy hardness to the finish but all in all this is polished, modern wine with character.
