Good firm entry and grip on the mid palate with a good sense of fruit, which was again, on the ripe and dark side, and not showing many layers of personality...short of monolithic. Framed well with a tannic structure that held it together in the middle and was even stronger on the finish...almost overpowering the fruit. Time in a bottle...
