Thursday, December 22, 2011 - It is hard to describe how amazing the nose of this wine is - apricots and spices and the magnificent scent of old but preserved flowers. On the palate, it is quite aged with wonderful floral notes and less of the oxidized intensity than expected. It just glides softly across the tongue again creating this sensation of old, even petrified flowers. A stunningly unique wine but as this bottle was in perfect condition, this should be drunk now; or better yet, just smelled for hours.
