93 Points

Saturday, September 18, 2010 - Took 45 minutes to open up (came from very cool cellar) and then developed significantly over the next hour. Superb; better than the several vintages of Vaucrains I've had from Chevillon. Prominent iron/minerals but then enormously aromatically complex nose with sous-bois-funk, hints of sweet pain d'epices, just layers of stuff going on here. Quite a light wine. I think this will improve over 3-5 years and then peak.
