Heavy and oxidized but with sharp acid - for the first time in his life, Chris chose not to finish a glass of champagne. I didn't dislike it as much, but it wasn't a favorite. On the second night, it had melded into a much more palatable experience, with caramel and bread notes, but I still found it a bit unwieldy. Interesting, sure, and I'm glad I tried it. Not something I would purchase, though.
