2001 Château Duhart-Milon

Community Tasting Note

90 Points

Sunday, February 16, 2014 - Dark garnet red, without ripe tones on the edge, youthful red wine
Aroma: medium strong aroma full of cassis, cedar, classic Cabernet, leather, cherry, prune, and later coffee aromatik adventitious, very nice bouquet for a nearly middle of wine.

On the palate: at first slight, but later medium body, yet noticeable tannins round, fresh unobtrusive but noticeable acid, coupled with the beautiful fruchtsuüße of red berries and cherry, leather and mocha again. Overall balanced, round harmonious but still far from aristocratic at the height of the Super Seconds from the Medoc.

Nice, pleasant medium long finish.
