Zippy acidity, slight alcoholic burn in the midpalate.
The finish is dark fruited with average length.
Overall, this wine has good fruit and an expressive nose, but is seems straightforward and has a little too much alcohol for me. Day 2 - When served at a lower temperature, the alcohol did not intrude, and the fruit was less flabby. Probably an 88 on day 2.
