Saturday, November 22, 2008 - A dark looking...dark enough not to see thru purple...with a meaty nose of dark ripe fruit highlighted by blackberry and a sense of game on the nose with a bit of spice and pepper. Great fruit presence that was just short of being fat and sweet...but the sharp frame work held this together...this wine has a distinct personality...nice stuff that is still evolving.
