Friday, November 4, 2011 - We liked this a lot for the price and pedigree. Medium garnet color, it has all the usual CdP spice, anise, saddle, underbrush notes along with red > black fruit. The texture is plush almost opulent. Balance is great; this is on plateau, but certainly no risk of dying soon. A great preview to an upcoming 2001 CdP tasting!
