Wednesday, July 27, 2005 - I had to have my Grenache fix tonight. Nose of blackberry jam, candied fruit and fresh cut flowers. In the mouth, soft, sweet, seductive, hedonistic and sexy. Strawberry, cherry, currant and plum fruti. Licorice notes and a tinge of smokiness. I was worried that it would be closed down, but it is in full glory right now.

Had it with leftover grilled ribeys, sauteed mushrooms and pasta.
