Wednesday, August 12, 2015 - Despite a medium neck level the wine opened and persisted with a fine bead. Golden colour, very powerful nose of salted caramel and developed nutty Chardonnay. The palate is even stronger, with characters of almost burnt caramel toffee, almonds and chalk, quite developed but not over the hill. The finish has a slightly disparate intense fruit spice followed by tight acidity. A fascinating experience, many at our table loved it but a few found it almost too much! It will not benefit from longer cellaring.
