Friday, January 27, 2006 - Drinking well now, although it is wise to hold off unless you want the experience of a young Bordeaux.

Nose of cassis, graphite, and a little mint. On the palate, nice body with flavors of cassis, black cherries, blackberries, and blueberries, and a hint of smoke. A bit tannic, but not unexpected at this age. A fair bit of acid in this. Nice length in the finish.

A real steal at the $19 I paid for these bottles.
