Friday, January 30, 2015 - Dinner with Charles M - 96 DP Oeno, 96 Dom Rose, 90 Margaux, 90 Mouline, 93 Ponsot Chambertin & etc. (The Grill Room at Capella Hotel Georgetown): Another incredible showing which starts to convince me that this may be better than the regular 96 Dom. Incredible freshness, fresh white fruits, apple, lemon curd, white flowers, limestone, oyster shell, saline and smoke. Excellent concentration, delicate yet decadent, sweet white citrus and apple driven palate impression, bright acidity and lovely seamless finish. Charles mentioned a great Burgundy with bubbles and I have to agree. Once again reminded me a great Chevalier Montrachet, very vinous nose.
