Saturday, May 31, 2003 - Dark amber colour. Oily looking in the glass. Somewhat oxidized on the nose. Hard to pick out nuances through the slightly madeirized nose. Nothing wrong with the taste of this wine, though. A mushroomy feel to this. Nice deep flavour dimensions. This is another completely resolved wine that would have been stupendous, had it not been for the somewhat off bouquet. Still, a brilliant wine.
