Friday, August 8, 2014 - Drunk at the HK Club from Magnum - this was the unanimous wine of the night. Probably the most apt comment was you could imagine yourself sitting in the library with your grandfather drinking claret and this would be the wine. Earthy, cigar box, gentlemen's club (the St James's Street kind!) smells were prevalent. A harmonious blend of silky smooth tannins, acid and fruit. My sense is this is at its drinking plateau. I just hope its a long one!
