Wednesday, January 9, 2013 - I really enjoyed this wine. If you enjoy old Cote Rotie, this wine will grab you. Alcohol is strong on the nose, which surprised and concerned me. However, this was not evident in taste or finish. Olives, bacon fat and potpourri dominated, and the fruit was more evident than in a 1982 Guigal Cote Rotie I enjoyed last year. This is a fantastic wine.
