Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - Quite expressive nose with plenty of depth. Great notes of black cherry, anise, and herbs. Palate has nice acidity and firm tannic grip, though approachable and pleasant. Lots of dark fruits, herb du provance, kirsch, and leather. Medium finish of smoke, mineral and loads of earth and herbal spiciness. Really great balance and poise, with loves spice and balanced fruit notes. Fantastic QPR.
