Friday, November 13, 2009 - Bought as a future and, I’m assuming, well stored since purchase. Popped and left to breathe for about 10 minutes in bottle. Cork was soaked through but came up easy and intact. Strong dark colour with no bricking. Cigar box, some cedar, smoke and cocoa, along with cassis and surprising amounts of earthy meatiness. Still lots of black fruit with light velvety tannins and good acidity. This is drinking wonderfully.
