7/99 (Tasting): Was great...mature, wonderful nose, cedary, and perfect balance of 17 yr old Bordeaux.
12/04: NYEve: was fabulous. smooth, mature, but not at all over the hill. Hint of brown around the edge. Classic lead pencil nose, wonderfully complex, perfect balance. Terrific wine.
