Sunday, July 12, 2009 - Had with grilled lamb loin chops, grilled eggplant, farfalle pasta salad. Deep purple. Big nose with lots of oak. Cassis, cigar box, smoke, vanilla, occasional hint of eucalyptus. On the palate rich blackberry, syrup, expresso. Nice blend pairing well with the lamb chops. Wife would probably say 90 points.
