Spicy and leafy, really textbook Pauillac. A lean, tense, and somewhat nervous wine. A bit of a sweet core of black cherry, but lacking really deep flesh, this is definitely advancing. I'm not sure if this is closed down or just starting to dry out, but it is quite lovely. Some firm tannins suggest that this still is waiting to open fully.
