Friday, March 15, 2013 - aroas of leather, clove, slight red currant and red fruit - oddly enough - toast, biscuit, violets and cigar box. With time there is an almond top note, touches of mint, vanilla and slight alcoholic warmth. In the mouth it has medium plus acid and alcohol, mint, tea, brambly black fruit to accompany the red fruit, muted black pepper & sweet tobacco that all carry on the long finish. Rather nice and in a great place right now with an excellent balance between primary, secondary and tertiary characteristics.
