Friday, April 5, 2013 - Very ripe, fruit holding up really well. Both red and black fruit on the nose, as well as strong sense of place, wild mushrooms, earthy. almost muddy. High acid, ripe raspberry, mushroom and cured meat on the palate. Tannins were soft and sweet; alcohol spiked a bit, the wine seems a little hotter that i would have liked but excellent altogether
