Thursday, July 27, 2017 - Sometimes my company does these "meh wine dinners" where my boss brings free wine that has sit in the warehouse for years in less than ideal conditions. Thus I could "enjoy" maderised DRCs, undrinkable Corton-Charlemagnes, questionable Meursault-Charmes and so on and so forth.

I don't know in what conditions this one had been conserved, but it was unexpectedly good!
Clearly aged in the leather and dried flowers character, but with some light fruit still hanging, olives hint and a defined acidity. Quite enjoyable!
Soft captivating tannins, solid body and a good chocolatey finish complete the picture.
