Tuesday, September 9, 2014 - Casual (Mostly) Burg Dinner with Friends (Bistro Campagne - Chicago, IL): Open 30 minutes before serving, served alongside HN 2001 Malconsorts and Beaumonts. This was forward, lush and very pleasurable from the start. it stayed at the same level throughout the evening, providing lots of pleasure. Good balance of ripe fruit, good spice and background structure that's well integrated. I preferred the Malconsorts tonight, particularly as it unfolded and developed in glass, but certainly understand others preferring this CV tonight.

Bit of a shock to read your reviews, and I'm sure you've gotten it right based on other notes I've read. I'm no longer very active in the wine game, just buy a few favorite PN's from the wineries, but enjoy seeing notes on past 'friends'.
