Friday, March 8, 2013 - With three-hour decant: rich, dusty aromas of blackcurrant and cherry. Dust conveys to the palate pleasantly, with some softish fruit and clearly defined, fiery gout de terroir. Ample fine tannin structure and acidity; mild sense of minerality. This wine is very good, in a restrained way. As described in the previous note, fresh with plenty of energy and life in it yet. Would like to see it acquire a touch more body and breadth as it continues to age.
