Saturday, March 1, 2008 - Ordered off the menu at Lala Rokh (Boston). Restrained and elegant nose of anise, tar, spices, flowers and a touch of black cherry. Given that it was popped and poured, it was surprisingly smooth from the outset, the tannins round and the acid in balance. The power and spices matched nicely with the Persian food.
