Sunday, July 13, 2014 - My last bottle of 2004 Blanchards, and a curious, yet tasty showing. Lots of sweet, red fruit, as if it was a newly released wine. That fruit overlaid a forest floor and earthy element that showed full development. The wine remained bifurcated, new versus old, through the entire bottle, but was always light on its feet and very aromatic. A delicious but strange experience.
