Thursday, November 5, 2015 - Coming into the final yards of 2015, with the air getting a little cooler in Hong Kong, Mrs L and I brought a bottle of this to dinner. Since the summer, we've drunk fewer wines than normal, so I was really looking forward to uncorking this one. The bouquet did not disappoint. Richly infused with ripe strawberries, lychees and pepper, this nose could only come from Rayas. Pungent and flavorful on the palate, the fruit was generous without any hint of over-ripeness. A light mineral edge added a touch of complexity. Fresh yet nicely rounded, this wine has yet entered its drinking window. It will drink beautifully over the next 5 years
