Thursday, July 23, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs
-wow this is dark almost purple and nearly opaque
-somewhat muted black cherry cola Vosne spice
-very low profile almost low acidity up front but then med acidity sneaks in on back end, brooding sweet creamy dark cherry fruit some cola and a bit of Vosne and wood-spice, not very complex, ripe refined tannins still evident but starting to resolve
-ripe and spicy drinking OK now but seems to be very shy and several years away from unfurling its potential, if tasting blind I might guess this to be a Rhys pinot
