Sunday, April 3, 2016 - Dark purple. Black fruit and roast meat dominate the nose, with a hint of black olive. Powerful and intense, the 1998 Côte Blonde is nonetheless is a wine of considerable finesse. Dark fruit on the palate leads to a lengthy finish. Great wine; drinking well now.
