Saturday, November 1, 2014 - Full garnet to mid ruby at the core. Lovely nose that combines a touch of caramel, damp early autumnal sous bois, a whiff of smoke and a lovely core of slightly sappy red fruit. Silky smooth with a floaty, almost ethereal brightness. Some earthy meatiness though the mid-palate and then the bright red fruit and vibrancy comes back on the finish. Beautiful. Really singing. Sixth bottle in the past three years and the best yet. ****
