Thursday, September 11, 2008 - Decanted for 90 minutes. Dark purple color; very floral nose with gobs of blackberry, currant, and sweet vanilla oak. Very lithe on the palate with sturdy, well-integrated tannins. I picked up a hint of green pepper on the finish. A very well-made wine that should slightly improve over the next 2-3 years.
