Monday, June 1, 2015 - Pop and pour. Intense fruit right from the start. Compared to the 2007 and 2012 Gevrey-Chambertin from the same producer this one gives the most immediate joy. Fruit and immense power both on the start of the palate and throughout the end. It has a bit of a one track mind right now, with mostly tons of fruit. More power than the other wines, but perhaps not as much finesse as the 2012 GC. All in all a fabulous wine... Will go on for years.
