Sunday, August 23, 2015 - Pale garnet core, wide pale mahogany rim. Touch of sulphur at first, but quickly blowing off to show a mainly red fruited nose, though with some underlying darker fruit, liquorice, lots of spice, touch of game. Salty. Medium bodied, this has decent volume and depth for the year and also refined, soft tannins, smoky, savoury red fruits, fresh acids, touch of white pepper on the good length finish. Very good indeed and still going strong.
