The wine tastes nearly like it is corked, yet it is not corked, and it did not want to open up. Tasted more like a merlot than a zinfandel - vegetal. We even decanted the bottle and it didn't help very much. Disappointing. Bottle shock? We have another bottle we'll try in a couple of years.
