Monday, July 14, 2014 - Base: 60% 2006 and 40% 2007. Disgorged January 2012 after 42 months on lees.
Very nice, clean, tight. The nose is enchanting and I feel like just sitting around sniffing it like a good glass of whisky or rum. The drink is very enjoyable, but slightly too acidic at the moment for my taste. I know from a recent tasting that it will become more accessible within a few hours of opening.
I'm quite certain that it would profit from some time to settle and mature. I would wait another 2-3 years before enjoying this again. I will buy some more of these for cellaring.
