Monday, December 7, 2015 - Weekly tasting group #195; St. Estephe (@ VD): Beautiful and rustic, classical Bordeaux bouquet with red and dark forest fruits, some cherries, good oak and at first a touch of barnyard which blows off. On the palate creamy dark and red forest fruits, a touch of bell pepper, herbs and sweet spices like vanilla, good and juicy acidity and round tannin. Becomes more soft and friendly with a little more air time. Ready now and in 2018 this will still be lovely. 90 - 91

12/7/2015 4:26:00 PM - Fine! But I don't own any bottles myself. You wrote your comment, while I was drinking and posting a note about a white wine from Madrid area. Please check it. Do you know this wine? What is your opinion?

12/7/2015 4:38:00 PM - let's see...Picarana, oh sorry I ever tasted that one despite I know the winery. New wave of winemakerswhose marketing is representing more than half of work made, presenting themselves as the new redentors and discovers of the wine in Madrid.
Sorry again for this speach but far away from my mind this kind of men and their unsubstancial wines. Gutierrez (RP), on the other hand, has bought their message.
    Cheers!
