Friday, October 10, 2014 - I bought this bottle from an auction house so I was holding my breath - god knows what type of storage condition this bottle had been in. Well, I received it in mint condition labelled "acquired from a private cellar". I was curious to find out what an old Verite would taste like. Nose of macerated berries, some tobacco. Tons of pleasure in mouth. Yet, if Dominus comes an inch close to old world, this one is a mile away. A nice effort from a French winemaker. Ready to drink.
