Sunday, April 7, 2013 - This wine has 1/3 of each of the grapes chardonnay, pinot noir and pinot meunier. The dosage is 8 grams. Usually the blend is made of 4 different vintages and the grapes are harvested from 35 different terroirs. The domain strives to make the taste of this generic non vintage wine taste the same over the years. There is no use of oak. The result is a high quality wine with bread dough and crustaceans in the bouquet. On the palate mild tart lime, some green apple, melon and good limestone minerality. Not bone dry, but soft, elegant and approachable. A high quality non vintage wine.
