Sunday, October 4, 2015 - The cork indicated some botte age. The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and a little foamy, with intense, very fine perlage. It offered apple, stone fruit, brioche and toast on the nose. On the palate the wine showed apple, stone fruit and toast, supplemented by a chalky/mineral streak and a hint of honey on the finish, with creamy mousse, fresh, medium-plus acidity and very good length. The medium-bodied Champagne was balanced and had a medium-rich to rich mouthfeel. I particularly liked the good balance between richness and freshness.
