Friday, December 4, 2015 - Pol Roger Tasting (Sunfish Cellars, St. Paul, MN): Light gold color. Drank 2 glasses over 40 minutes. A blend of '08 thru '11 of theoretically equal parts C, PN, and PM. This is every bit as good as the bottle I had a couple of weeks ago. This is classy juice, always reliable, always performs. On the nose there is plenty of yeast, bread dough, lightly toasted, pear, almond. The palate is mid weight plus, pear, tart pear, yeast, almond, mineral, hints of red fruits lurking, lovely mousse and texture. Excellent.
