Saturday, June 9, 2012 - Popped and poured. Medium red w perhaps a touch of browning on the edge. Unlike the last bottle this is quite clean on the nose w sous-bois and herbs and some airy red fruits. Medium weight on the palate with some tannins on the finish; very un-California in its restraint and savory, earthy notes . I think this may still need some time to resolve; nice wine.
