Saturday, November 3, 2012 - Deep amber color. Incredible nose of molasses, varnish, citrus, almond, coffee and all kinds of spices. A full-bodied, intense Madeira with flavors of roasted chestnuts, spices, citrus, varnish and on and on. Finishes deeply complex and concentrated and a bit harsh with burnt notes. I think this just needs more time to settle down. 94+
